What is Edu-K8's Home Education Tuition Centre?
Edu-K8 is a tuition centre that supports home-schooling families by providing a structured academic curriculum in core subjects, and aims to work collaboratively with enrichment provision companies to offer home educated families all round access to all areas of childhood development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
What subjects do you offer?
We cover maths, English, science, geography, phonics, and early years foundation stage numeracy.
How are subjects taught at Edu-K8?
Each program aligns with the national curriculum and adapts to your child’s pace and interests. No child is left behind.
Lessons are designed to balance foundational skill-building with interactive, enquiry-based learning. For example, Science lessons include experiments, while English include writing and culminate in published work.
With mixed ages and mixed abilities, learners will be taught a learning objective with activities and outcomes being differentiated according to the learner, not just the curriculum objective. Dispelling the fear of levels, we will also encourage group work and discussion giving the learners the autonomy to build on their understanding and develop their skills through talk for learning with adults and peers alike.
What age groups do you cater to?
We primarily cater to primary-aged children (aged 5-11) focusing on foundational skills and preparation for future academic success and fundamental developmental skills expected for learners to be able to be more confident when working to love through the stages of their academic journey.
We are currently working on extending our services to Key Stage 3 and 4 giving our learners the scope to to extend their learning in a safe, secure and progressive manor.
What are the class sizes?
You can register for tuition by COMPLETING THIS FORM. Follow the instructions and answer the questions to complete your registration. Completion and submission of this form does not guarantee a place, but you will be contacted by Edu-K8 within 72hrs of submission to confirm your booking.
Do you follow a specific curriculum?
Yes we do. We use a topic-based curriculum for core subjects that align with the UK's educational standards and the National Curriculum.
How do I register for tuition?
Maximum of 15 children per session, per group.
What are your fees?
We offer a fair and comprehensive payment structure designed to be affordable and manageable for the family budget. Tuition packages for single lessons to the full package is available and family discount is available for families with two or more children attending.
You are welcome to pay for your chosen package in three ways; Payment Option A (Single payment), payment Option B (Two payments three weeks apart) and payment Option C (Three payments; each instalment is three weeks apart).
